This is one great moisturizer. It's rather heavy, but it still feels great. I personaly prefer DML Forte over DML lotion because it moisturizes and protects your skin better. If you prefer lighter moisturizer, go with DML lotion.
I actually use this stuff on face and it works better than any department store brand I tried. It doesn't irritate my skin at all (unlike department store brands). If you need something for hands/body, I recommend equally good and less expensive Vanicream (I use DML Forte for face so I'm not concerned with slight price difference - it's still much cheaper than pretty much anything else you can find in department stores or even superstores).

My dermatologist gave me a small sample tube of this moisturizer months ago; I carried it around in my purse and didn't use it until recently, when it got cooler outside and my hands started to become dry and chapped. What a wonderful discovery! This is a great moisturizer, especially for people with sensitive skin. Its primary ingredients are petrolatum and glycerin, which means it's very effective. And while a slathering of Vaseline would probably work as well, the glycerin makes it glide on smoothly and it stays on, also. I keep a tube with me at all times, now.

My 2 yr old daugther has eczema- we tried numerous lotions recommended by our pediatrician, however none improved her skin's condition. My dermatologist recommened this lotion for her and within days her skin was better! Her skin hasn't been this smooth since she was an infant. She is much more comfortable as well! I found it a great alternative to the suggested 'cortizone' creams and the effects last; We use only once a day now and her skin is still great!
